Product Description – C210 Series Precision Soldering Tips for JBC Stations
Precision Tips for JBC CD-2SHQF/CDS & T210 Handpieces
Engineered for JBC CD-2SHQF, CD-2SHQE, and CDS soldering stations, these C210 series tips are also fully compatible with the T210 handpiece and B.IRON100/500/DUAL500 portable stations. Designed for professionals in electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, and precision repair, they deliver exceptional thermal response and reliable performance for fine soldering applications.
Material & Construction
Each tip features a C1020 oxygen-free copper core (copper content ≥ 99.95%) with electrical conductivity ≥ 98.5% and thermal conductivity of approximately 390–400 W/(m·K). Manufactured using precision deep-hole drilling, the inner wall achieves a surface roughness of ≤ Ra0.8, ensuring an optimal fit with the heating element for maximum heat transfer efficiency.
The heating element assembly utilises aluminium nitride ceramic for ultra-fast thermal conduction, with a FeCrAl alloy heating wire offering superior resistance to deformation at high temperatures. A built-in high-precision K-type thermocouple ensures extremely short thermal lag (approx. 0.3 seconds) for instant temperature response.
The 120-hour nano-composite electroplating process applies four functional layers:
Iron layer (10 A/dm²): Dense crystalline structure for superior corrosion and wear resistance; thickness approx. 250–350 μm
Nickel layer (8 μm): Prevents rust and protects the copper base
Hard chromium layer (15 A/dm²): Maximises oxidation resistance and prevents solder creep
Tin layer (12 μm): Pre-applied to the working end for immediate wettability
Performance & Compatibility
Long Service Life: Delivers 20,000–45,000 solder joints under standard conditions (350–400°C, proper maintenance). Actual lifespan depends on temperature, flux, and solder alloy.
Cost-Effective: Offers 30–50% savings compared to genuine JBC C210 tips, with consistent quality across all batches.
Precision Fit: Outer diameter 4.5 mm, total length approx. 85–87 mm (varies by tip shape) – ensures secure contact with T210 handpieces.
Applications
Suitable for PCB repair, precision soldering of small components, prototyping, and production environments where fine-pitch work and rapid thermal recovery are essential.
Maintenance & Replacement
To extend tip life:
Clean with a damp sponge or brass wire ball during use.
Apply a solder "tin cap" before powering off.
Use recommended temperatures: 350°C ± 10°C for lead-free, 320°C ± 10°C for leaded solder.
Never use files or abrasives – these damage the plating.
Replace immediately if you observe:
Pits or holes on the working surface
Solder creeping up the barrel
Significant loss of heating efficiency
Permanent blackening that rejects solder

Use Scenarios
Precision Soldering in Electronics Prototype Development
Within prototyping laboratories, the C210 soldering tip supports engineers performing design validation and joint qualification, providing stable thermal delivery essential for iterative testing and fine feature refinement. Its compatibility with JBC soldering stations enables seamless integration into existing soldering station kits used during PCB assembly and component placement trials. The tip’s advanced plating prevents oxidation and solder creep under frequent temperature cycling, sustaining consistent accuracy. This contributes directly to improved reliability in prototype outputs, facilitating quicker iteration cycles while preserving strict adherence to thermal profiles specified in design requirements.
Automated Production Line Soldering and Maintenance
In high-throughput assembly lines, where repeatability and uptime are paramount, the C210 series tip ensures reliable heat transfer to maintain joint consistency across bulk PCB soldering operations. Its corrosion-resistant plating reduces tip wear, allowing longer usage intervals and decreased downtime for replacement or cleaning. This durability aligns well with automated soldering station kits, enhancing system throughput and reducing the total cost of ownership. Procurement managers benefit from comprehensive supply availability through wholesale soldering tip sourcing, enabling inventory optimization and synchronized maintenance schedules. Integration of this tip within production workflows enables sustained compliance with industrial standards and consistent product quality verification.
Is the C210 series soldering tip compatible with all JBC soldering station models?
We design the C210 series precision soldering iron tip for compatibility with most JBC soldering stations. However, we recommend confirming your specific JBC station model before ordering to ensure perfect fitting and performance with your soldering station kit.
What plating layers does the C210 soldering tip include and why are they important?
Our C210 soldering tip features chromium, nickel, and iron plating layers. Chromium prevents solder creep, nickel guards against rust and corrosion, and the iron layer inhibits oxidation. These layers together extend tip life and maintain consistent heat transfer for reliable soldering results.
Can you supply custom soldering tips tailored to specific industrial requirements?
Yes, we offer custom soldering tips designed to meet your unique thermal and geometric specifications. Whether you need a specialized fine tip soldering iron or other adaptations, our team can produce custom soldering iron tip solutions aligned with your production goals.
What maintenance practices help maximize the lifespan of the C210 soldering tip?
To preserve the durability and thermal stability of our soldering tips, clean solder residue regularly and avoid mechanical damage. Following these maintenance steps ensures long-term reliability and minimizes downtime in your soldering station kit operations.
