Sample development

Feasibility study1–2 working days, without a review fee.
Sample fabrication10–15 working days. A non-recurring engineering and sampling fee covers materials and labor.
Sample shippingSamples are dispatched after completion; shipping cost is borne by the buyer.

Approval and production

Minor revisionOne minor dimensional or plating revision is included without an additional fee.
Major redesignA head-shape or overall-structure redesign requires a new sample and sampling fee.
Production lead timeProduction lead time is 15–25 working days, depending on quantity and complexity, after deposit and sample confirmation.
Batch controlProduction follows the approved sample; inspection data is retained and each batch receives a lot number.

What information can I submit for an OEM soldering tip request?

You can submit CAD drawings in DWG, STEP, or PDF format, provide a new or used physical sample, or identify a standard model and describe the required modification. Critical dimensions and tolerances should be clearly marked.

How long does feasibility review and sample development take?

Feasibility review takes 1–2 working days. Sample fabrication normally takes 10–15 working days after the technical requirements are confirmed.

Is there a sample development fee?

A non-recurring engineering and sampling fee applies to sample fabrication and covers materials and labor. The sampling fee is deductible from the production invoice when the mass-production order reaches at least 500 pieces.

What is the minimum order quantity for a custom soldering tip?

The minimum order quantity is 100 pieces per model for both standard customization and robot-specific tips.

Can a sample be revised after testing?

One minor revision, such as a small dimensional or plating adjustment, is included without an additional fee. A major redesign that changes the head shape or overall structure requires a new sample and a new sampling fee.

How are drawings and custom designs protected?

Customer drawings and samples are used for quotation and sampling. Exclusive customer designs are not sold or disclosed without written authorization, and a mutual non-disclosure agreement can be signed on request.
