Material & Plating

Each tip features a C1100 copper core (copper content ≥ 99.90%) with thermal conductivity of approximately 380–400 W/(m·K). Formed by cold heading, the core offers about 15% higher thermal conductivity than machined alternatives, ensuring rapid heat delivery to the joint.

The 84-hour nano-composite electroplating process applies four functional layers:

Iron layer (11 A/dm²): Dense crystalline structure for superior corrosion and wear resistance

Nickel layer (8 μm): Prevents rust and protects the copper base

Hard chromium layer (15 A/dm²): Maximizes oxidation resistance and prevents solder creep
